Join us 11am on Sunday, June 8th at North Lotus Lake Park for an 18-mile bike tour around the Purgatory Creek watershed. This is an intermediate-level ride, and participants should be prepared for uneven terrain, changes in elevation, and a moderate tempo. Trails are a mix of pavement and dirt. Riders must be 14+.

Rain barrels help reduce the amount of runoff flowing across your property by capturing and storing rainwater from your roof, which can then be reused to water your garden or irrigate your lawn. This workshop on Monday, June 9th will walk you through how to convert a retired oak wine barrel into a beautiful rain barrel of your very own. Cost: $45.

Celebrate Creek Week with the Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District and local artist Kimberly Boustead with a Paint & Sip evening on Wednesday, June 11th at the O.G. Coffee & Wine Bar! Kimberly will give a brief introduction into foraging plants to create inks, followed by time to paint your aquatic scene. Cost: $10.

Join RPBCWD for a Learn to Canoe Night on Thursday, June 12th. Learn basic water safety before setting off on a lake paddle. Canoes can hold up to 2 adults with up to 2 children. Life jackets and equipment provided. More details coming soon!

Join RPBCWD for a volunteer planting day on Saturday, June 14th! We will be adding hundreds of plants to the Pioneer Trail Wetland Restoration Project. Parking at the site is limited - please meet at the RPBCWD office at 9am to carpool. Limited shuttle service available.
