Through financial assistance, examples, and tools, we want to help you take action for healthy water resources in your neighborhood, city, watershed, and beyond. Join a community of stewards who are changing norms and building the future of clean water.

Funding Programs

Our funding programs aim to help make your clean water project or education idea a reality.

Stewardship Cost Share Program

Cost share funds and technical support for projects that protect and improve our watershed resources.

Action Grant

Small, simple grants for team projects and activities that protect clean water. Examples: an Earth day clean-up, planting native flowers with a group of friends. Who can apply: Residents, Students, Local businesses, Groups or troops

Classroom Seed Funds

Support for educators to incorporate water resources into their teaching. Examples: a trip to a nature center, building terrariums, nets for exploring a creek. Who can apply: Teachers and Informal Educators

The first step in the Standard Cost Share application process is to request a site visit to evaluate your site and discuss your idea for a project.
