HOA Stormwater Management
There are over 7,950 Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and Common Interest Communities (CICs) in Minnesota, and are home to 27% of Minnesotans. HOAs are responsible for managing stormwater on their properties, and are often required to perform routine maintenance on community stormwater infrastructure. Proper management of this infrastructure can help mitigate flooding, protect water quality, and comply with state and local regulations. HOA Stormwater Management 101 Workshop
Join RPBCWD to learn about how your HOA can improve stormwater management and save money! At this initial workshop, you will learn about what stormwater management is and why it is important. We will cover benefits such as water resource protection, flood and property damage protection, and cost savings. We will also briefly introduce some of the common best management practices for stormwater management, their specific benefits, maintenance requirements, and why this is all important specifically to HOAs.
