The Incredible Journey

In Incredible Journey, students become water droplets as they move through different locations in Earth’s systems, discovering firsthand that water does not simply move in a circle—but follows a complex web of pathways and destinations.
Through movement, role-play, and reflection, students explore how water changes form and travels through the atmosphere, land, and living things. This tried-and-true activity supports systems thinking, reinforces key water cycle concepts, and helps students build a deeper, more accurate understanding of how water moves through our world.
Students will be able to:
- describe the movement of water within the water cycle.
- identify the states of water as it moves through the water cycle.
