Ready to spread some holiday cheer?

Consider volunteering at the Christmas Tree Giveaway on Dec. 13th. The event will take place at a property that the watershed district is in process of purchasing. The property was once a Christmas tree farm and has many trees remaining. RPBCWD plans to do habitat restoration on the property and will be removing many of the evergreen trees as early as next year. Since the trees will be removed anyway, we thought we'd offer a special event to give Christmas trees away to low-income families.

We are looking for volunteers to help with all aspects of the event from arrival to departure. You can choose to volunteer for all or part of the event. If you speak Spanish or another language, please let us know.

This event will happen regardless of weather (unless there's a blizzard - then we'll make other arrangements). The snacks and craft activities may be scaled back or packed up to-go if it's raining.
