Citizen Advisory Committee
Applications are open through November 15th to join the Citizen Advisory Committee. You must be a RPBCWD resident to serve on the committee. Apply now.
Citizen advisory committee members must be residents of the watershed, except representatives from soil and water conservation districts. The CAC is a volunteer advisory board comprised of community members. Members serve two-year terms. The application period for the CAC is in November with new CAC members appointed by the RPBCWD Board of Managers in January.
As representatives of citizen interests, committee members support the board of managers in their mission to protect, manage, and restore water resources. They provide recommendations to aid in decision making, communicate concerns from the public, and help educate the community on best practices for protecting clean water.
The public is welcome to attend CAC meetings. Guest speakers are invited to present on various topics several times a year. See meeting agendas for more information.
