 Shauna joined RPBCWD in February 2026. She helps implement the district-wide monitoring program, and focuses on the collection, analysis, and reporting of data on lakes including lake levels, water quality, fisheries, aquatic vegetation, and invasive species management within the district. She received a BA in Geography from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MS in Water Resources Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Prior to joining RPBCWD, she served as the Water Resources Technician at Prior Lake-Spring Lake Watershed District.

Shauna's favorite part of her job is that it combines so many things that she's always been drawn to. She enjoys getting to know the waters and the natural systems of RPBCWD through a wide variety of monitoring programs, data analysis, and the community. She says "if I'm in a pair of waders, deep in an excel sheet, or chatting with locals I'm in my happy place." In her free time, Shauna loves to be outside: nature walks, birding, kayaking, and fishing. She also like to spend time with friends, explore local coffee shops, read, and practice guitar.
