Skye joined RPBCWD in 2025. She supports staff by creating, analyzing, and visualizing spatial data. Her goal is to turn numerical data into user-friendly maps and experiences that expand understanding of our work. Behind the scenes, she work to keep information organized and accessible. She earned her B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of South Carolina, where she focused on geography, sustainability, and education.
Skye's favorite part of her job is getting to work with great people with different backgrounds because it allows us to learn from each other and be inspired by others' perspectives. GIS provides the opportunity to connect with each department individually, which makes for an exciting mix of projects. In her free time, she loves to spend time outside running, walking, and biking. When she's not outdoors, she's getting creative by working on her knitting or sewing projects.
